A short summary.

This is a short summary of my latest comment on the blogg. During the meeting this wednesday I presented an idea of me using the space where the barn of the king used to be before it was burned down nearly ten years ago. As I said, during the meeting, I met this old man J, who along with other people living at Klippan is the owner of the Museum of Majorna, and I got to know him pretty well. So, when it was time for me to find a in-between-space I decided to give J a call and tell him about the project. He got really interested and told me about the barn and what had happened to it. We wnt for a walk and he showed me the space. During the walk we met one of J:s closest friends who got really interested when J told him about my project, so he went back home to get an old book about old parts and buildings in Klippan and Majorna aswell.

This book and J:s stories about the area of Klippan and the barn are very important in my project. The only thing which is left of the barn since the fire is a small, red building in front of a bigger, white house (which nowadays I think is a bakery) and I want the "leftovers" from the barn to be a part of my project. I think that I will consider to build a small model of the space and what I want to do with it. I'm thinking: history, teens and ways for the teens to be "seen".

This weekend I will try to make borders of the space and then find out more about the fire next week and also try to get some interviews with teenagers. What are they interested in?

/J

It seems like you have found a place that you like. And you even got to know someone who knows alot about it. Im afraid of talking to someone in the area yet. I want to find out my own idea about the place. But maybe his is a part of your place? He belongs to it? I will follow your blogg and hear about your meeting with this person.
